Installation guide

Please insert the pcie connector into the correct position of the motherboard pcie slot.

IMPORTANT

This product is suitable for motherboard with PCI-E slot. Please plug in the power of floppy drive while using it. Make sure the computer is out of power when you plug in or out the PCI-E extension cable.
The cables inside are specially made. Please do not replace them with other cables.
To prevent ruining your computers and other equipment, please find the right end to plug in the cable.
Use old flat cable for Dual core graphics card and 16X motherboard.

Q: What is PCI Express Riser ?

A: PCI Express riser is also called as GPU riser or PCIE extension cable.It converts PCI Express X1 slot from the mother board to external PCI Express X16 slot. The extended PCIE X16 slot is mainly used on BTC/ETH etc GPU Mining rigs.

Q: How do PCIe risers work?

A: A PCIe riser card is made up of a x16 GPU adapter, where the GPU goes in, and a x1 or a x4 GPU adapter that goes into the motherboard's PCIe slot. The two adapters are connected via a USB cable. This is a powered type of PCIe riser, and it helps to take some load off the PCIe slot.

Q: How do you properly power a GPU Riser?

A: Our risers feature two 6-Pin connectors. one on the front and another on the side. Only one of these connections is required to fully power the GPU Riser safely.

Q: How to confirm this PCIE riser active in my system?

A: The 12 LED indicators on this GPU riser shows once user light it up, the running LED light will start up, meaning the riser is fully powered.

Q: Is this GPU riser compatible with all the GPU brand?

A: Yes, It's compatible with any brands, such as AMD, Intel, Nvidia, Asus, MSI, Gigabyte.

Q: What is the foam pad on the bottom for?

A: The foam pad is to prevent the riser from being in direct metal contact with the surface it may be resting on. Anyway, our AAAwave mining frame also provide the foam pad on the GPU bar.

Q: What about a SATA to 6-pin adapter?

A: SATA to 6-pin adapters are the cause of burn outs and in some cases a fire. SATA is designed to handle up to 54 watts, however the adapters are often made very poorly. These adapters are never recommended. So we do not provide them in this version.

Handling time: All orders are shipped as soon as possible within 1-2 business days after payment confirmed. However, we cannot control transit time once your package is handed over to the courier.

Return Policy- Schedule and Time

  • Platinum Micro.com offers a 30 day return/exchange policy, unless otherwise noted. The return/exchange policy begins on the customers purchase date.
  • No returns or exchanges will be accepted after 30 days.
  • All refunds will be made back to the customer’s original form of payment within 7 business days of receiving the return merchandise.
  • Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA) are valid for only 10 business days. Packages must be received by us within 10 business days after the RMA number has been issued. Packages received after 10 business days will not be accepted and the warranty period will be considered voided and cancelled.
  • RMA processing time is 5-7 business days once the package has been received.
  • There is a restocking fee of 15%onall returns for refund. We charge this 15% restocking fee for all returns for refund to encourage customers to purchase products they intend to keep. We offer RMA replacement without any restocking fee to customers who have received a defective product.
  • Shipping costsisnon-refundable.
  • Product exchanges can be accepted for defective items, the same exact item only. Product returns can be accepted for defective items only. Productreturns for non-defective items will incur a 15% re-stocking fee, deducted from the refund amount.
